ok lemme see

If you count all the years INCLUDING cryostasis he would be around 42 when he went missing and into cryostatsis in 2553. Just some simple facts.

If your name is john, then no i do not know how old you are.


But please guys, some more serious questions. This is not what I had in mind (well actually it's where the Oh God part in the intro came from)

In terms of cellular decay (that's how you age , if you didn't know), Master Chief (being genetically advanced and existing in slipspace for so long where time does not affect you until you enter normal space and being in cyrostasis, it is hard to calculate, so I will make an equation).

But Maarten's correct on the relative age.

Main reason: The prophets could not stand the fact that humans were forerunners and thereby declared the holywar calling for total annihalation of Humanity.
