| I have stumbled on the idea that should eliminate fowl language on this site so a new members first impression isn't that we are a group of bad mouthed kids
We need to elemenate words Like Mother F***, A**Hole, Jack***, and Wh***.For example,here is a bad sentenceGo to Hell you mother f***ing cracker ass F***!
The above sentece was a clear violation of the Rules

The rules are as follows:
-Do not curse or swear(no profanity!)
-Do not flame other members.
-Be mindful of the opinions of others - It's like going up to a Christian and telling him God isn't real or something.
-Do not spam the forums. Spamming is defined as:
a) Posting a post like "lol" or "cool". This is not what we classify as a "good" post. It's a waste of forum space.
b) Posting the same thing over and over again.
c) Posting something everyone already knows.
d) Asking stupid questions o_O.
-Do not use any explicit images anywhere on the site.
-Play nice. Use what you learned in elementary school - "If you be nice to someone else, they will be nice to you in return".
-Don't waste time. This can be classified as spamming as well.

So Back on Topic.....
Here is an expamle of a corrected sentence...
Go to Heck you person i dislike
This Sentence has Been sent to hell and made child safe
The user has one infraction. Five infractions in a month will equal in a 5 day ban
The Infraction system is the warning system i wish to set up.
Every time someone cusses i will give them one infraction.
5 cusses in one month will result in a 5-day ban, as well as a mark.
Those who recive 3 marks will have their banned periods extended to 15 days, and every mark after that will result in a Perma-ban or a 6 month ban.
But not all bad words will be changed. AS LONG AS IF IT IS NOT OFFENSIVE, Such as HELL,DAMN, and CRAP, it will not be changed.
But the second someone uses these terms offensively, they will recive in 2 infractions
Also, Sexism will no longer be tolerated. Any sexism or abuse will be treated as an instant 2 infractions. Please, We are online. We shouldn't have to hear this.

| I agree with the racist comments being censored, as I have not done that yet. As far as I'm concerned though, halo is rated M for MATURE. If you don't want to deal with profanity, then go buy a winnie the pooh game. When I made the "No Swearing" rule I intended to have that be so you dont call someone a fucking retard or something. I do agree with things like "oh shit!" or "oh fucking shit!" if not intended to be as an insult towards another member. I have to decline your offer of the infraction system, sorry. And, no insult intended here, I feel that the sexist remarks being 2 infractions would only be because of you being a female. While you would still make the racist remarks only 1. As far as I'm concerned, we can just "Slipper" or "Doom" any posts we feel too offensive. I feel that calling a human being dirt, moire offensive than telling someone they're retarded. in conclusion, I WILL cover up some words I feel too offensive and replace them with stars. |

Even though i lost the argument, i want to put out that i listed that racist comments would give 4 infractions, not one.

Why is it that when I Doom a post, it always becomes even more offensive somehow?
