| I just want to know if anyone wanted to include content from other rpg medieval games (such as Oblivion) into one of our RMT maps (localizing to only Runescape would be a shame because of the mix of great content is scattered throughout various rpg games. Thoughts? |

| uhh well, yeah if you mean don't go solely by Runescape I'm with you. If you're suggesting importing weapons from othr medieval games then NO. becus: Halo blam engine = -BLAM!ed also: I personnaly thhink its abbout custom content, not copy and paste. Also I think this should be moved to the RMT discussion Forum. | Zoxin's Reply to Above^ wrote: | | Topic moved xD |

| I was referring to making models of existing items in other rpg action games, such as Oblivion, Diablo, etc. That doesn't mean we can't create original content. I just think that this mod would be much better if we focused on the entire RPG action genre. Since runescape is a "mouse" attack game - any medieval mod would turn out more like oblivion. Thoughts? |

Yeah I guess I forgot to say that, I dont mind using stuff from those other games as a base for new models. |

| So, it seems we have most of the main contributors together on this one. It shouldn't be too hard to modify or plans to include other content. (Once again, when Maarten sends me that list, I can compile a new one and include new weapons up for grabs) As for the map, we probably should design it not to resemble a Runescape town, but the medieval ages in general to effectively project the specifications of the genre. _________________ I am sorry to report I have destabilized the relative speed of some photons, which caused an immediate singularity to form. | We're probably noy going to get our hands on it anyways, so i think that's gonna have to be rebuild or even redesigned _________________ |

Not necessarily. There are many areas in Oblivion that are similar to Runescape.
Most of the areas in Oblivion are forests and villages, but on a more rural level than Runescape.
The bsp should be created so that it can fit both games - or potentially another one.
BTW, who was the person who answered "Why would you even ask that?" Was that serious? _________________ I am sorry to report I have destabilized the relative speed of some photons, which caused an immediate singularity to form. | I think we should rather stick to more runescape on our first map to show everyone what it is that we make. The BSP will stay the same for this map because of course it isn't that nice for runescape freaks who know every square inch of varrock to change it on them. |

| yeah maybe a more balaced design of varrock. Honestly, having all those lil houses with a single entrance etc isn't a good halo engine gameplay I think. (wow weird grammar feeling their but wth) _________________ |

| Great. I just posted messages throughout the site asking for Oblivion ideas and contributors. How about after we finish with this mod, we create an all Oblivion mod by itself? _________________ I am sorry to report I have destabilized the relative speed of some photons, which caused an immediate singularity to form. | Well, we could maybe make an oblivion themed map later. For now let's focus on making a runescape map. |
